People

I photograph people as they inhabit a space physically and emotionally. Each image begins with a simple intention: to create a frame where presence becomes visible, and where a person feels slightly larger than the moment they’re in. My process is collaborative but structured. I’m interested in how environment, light, and gesture combine to suggest a narrative that isn’t fully defined. A portrait doesn’t need to explain itself; it only needs to feel like part of a larger story.

I tend to think in scenes rather than isolated images. The subject is placed within a context that shapes how they’re read—sometimes subtle, sometimes more theatrical. In both cases, I’m looking for a balance between intention and what can’t be controlled.

What stays with me are the moments that feel suspended. When a subject is neither performing nor withdrawing, but simply existing. That’s where a photograph begins to embody more than appearance. These works aren’t about revealing a single truth, but about holding multiple truths at once within a single frame.
